A name: defined as a word or Words by which an entity is designated, thus set apart from others. A name enables one to describe, evaluate and recognize. "Aazam" is derived from the Persian language and means " the most glorious." Aazam can describe God as being the most glorious, also this word depicts the unequaled qualities of God. Albeit there is no single name which encompasses the complete essence of God as he is. Such glorious names of God fall into different categories and while some may fully comprehend and understand, others shall find this somewhat of a mystery. Undoubtedly, some people will have insight to the depth of these names, others will grasp superficial knowledge of them. There will be those who will recognize this as a sign of God's existence. Essentially, any object which is created is a sign of God's existence, even if some people can not understand this possibility.
Many refer to this supreme being as: God, Allah, Creator... however, they can not always grasp the essence of God, how he created the universe or the objets within. On the other hand there are those who do understand, those who can comprehend by means of proper study, education and ultimately their faith.
On July 3, 1986 I experienced what I will refer to as moments of inspiration from God. During this time, through His influence and force, God revealed to me thoughts, wisdom an intellect. Specifically, such force is active and what I realize to be invisible waves and energy in space. The force of God which is created in us is generated by God. Indeed, God has his own sense and his own will, with deeper consideration I came to the conclusion that God makes his decisions in the same way in which a person does and thus carries out the fulfillment of such decisions. The closest similarity to God's quality is infinite thought, wisdom and intelligence.
God actively observes humanity, he follows His own direction. When God penetrates our very being, our souls will experience growth, are apt to be more capable to comprehend the secrets of life, humanity and spiritually . . . essentially the secrets of God.
During the interval of time (1986 - 1988) I was focused on searching as well as studying the physical quality of God on a scientific level, in regard to my theories. Something now viewed as significantly important was proclaimed to me, the source of such proclamation was an elderly relative with religious and spiritual history, she shared with me her memories of what she had been thought by her grandparents. Thus being the presumptive condition of the world during the end times, resurrection, revelations and apocalypse. From her heritage, she possessed such information, as the generation passed so was this knowledge.
In addition, she also clarified that of all the names familiar to people which make reference to God, there is an unknown name which is deemed secretly. Which is the most glorious name of God. She reveled to me that no one has yet discovered this name, the general public do not understand this name. Furthermore, whoever could discover the name would be able to perform extraordinary things. The finder of such a name would he enabled to make the impossible tasks possible.
At another time I studied a book entitled, " Interpretation of the Dawn prayer." I would like to share a quote from this book, "be advised that God will guide you toward his Aazam name ( Aazam means the most glorious ). By doing so he will teach you many secrets. . . and be advised that if God is called by his Aazam name the close windows of' the skies will open and blessings of God would flow to ease the hardships on the earth. . . "
I could not perceive the contents of all I read, in actuality I construed it as a superstition and a mistaken belief. However, events which followed during subsequent months brought to me the realization that not only what I read and studied could be justified and was also related to traditional beliefs, but I felt I understood " the glorious name" of God. I viewed this as something essential to understand God as he is, to comprehend creation, evolution and existence. Many religious scholars have put forth effort to discover this name in countless pages of their religious books.
While studying the book entitled "stricken by the western culture," author Jallal - All, Ahmad. I noticed that while this author critically described the characters of the western stricken people in Iran, he also referred to the story of Aazam name of' God.
Quoted from his hook: In the past three centuries while the western civilization has advanced dramatically in their industrialized revolution and scientific endeavors, we the eastern people have remained stagnant in the repressive fundamentalistic shi'ite cocoon also have socially regressed by superstitious struggle to discover the seven pillars of the "Aazam Name." Through wasting our energies in the above nonsense activities or involving into the movement of Bahi sect and other useless internal struggles we have fallen behind the civilized world.
He then continued to criticized the western stricken people as being, " upside clown.... dust in the air unfamiliar with their own culture and traditions. . . being separated from their past while having no concept about the future . . . being confused about the issues. . . are full or fears . . . having no integrity . . . not knowing much about anything but acting and talking about everything as if everything they know is correct. . . "
Now is such a wild jungle of uncertainly the western advisors and orientalists flow to the country to judge about the belief and disbelief of people in regard to the impending return of their messiah ( the twelfth imam) or write about the culture and character of the clergies and religious jurisconsults."
Quoting a letter to the Editor published in the Iran Times weekly newspaper Washington D.C. " Be aware that the Dawn prayer contains the Aazam name and that the Messiah will return with the Aazam name. There has been a traditional belief about the above matters, it is traditionally believed that when the Messiah returns he would be carrying and presenting with the Aazam name. Also it is quoted from the Koran that God said " in the future when the people do no trust one another I will resurrect a creature on earth to communicate with the people so I will fulfill the promise that I have made. Nobody knows who that creature will be but God."
In making reference to another letter the word "Baha" was used by the ancient Iranian poet Jallal-e-deen Molavi of the 13th century as the Aazam name. In addition the Bahi prophet considered the same name to be the Aazan name, so called himself "Baha - o- ollah" meaning the Glory of God. The Dawn prayer starts with the following words "O' God I ask you from your Baha, all your Bahas are elegant, oh God I inquire about all your Bahas."
I was enlightened to learn that similar beliefs in regard to the condition surrounding the Aazam name coexists among some of the followers of the other divine religions of God.
By realizing the above mentioned circumstances I came to the conclusion that the issue of the Aazam name or the Glorious name of God is far too important to be ignored, thus I paid more attention to this issue.
A recapitulation taken from the book, "Interpretation of the Dawn prayer" reads as such, "The discovery of the Aazam name of God will reveal Gods impact in the scientific discoveries thus leading to progression in science. Also prepare the people to learn the spiritual secrets. It will vanish the dark evils such as animosities, hatred and materialistic lusts. So far as the mankind become able to realize the blessing of God. Each person can realize these beauties to the extent of their ability, meritoriously. Knowing about this name will open thc windows of the skies to God's blessings, for improving the hardship of life. The Aazam name is created by God. . . it is at he level of wisdom. This name also is the reality of humanity which is being trained by its own identical. All other names of God are a manifestation of this glorious name. This name will not manifest itself to anybody except to its own identicals, also those creatures who have satisfied God's demands. This name is not colored. . . it is infinite and unlimited. . . it is concealed from those who are skeptical. . . it is so widespread that it can he missed easily.
It also may shine through and manifest itself through human beings. . while mankind may be a means to manifest it, they also may block his manifestations. The same as a mirror that can show human faces, these faces may reveal the presence of the mirror, but also block the views beyond them. There is no permission to disclose more details or the secrets of this name. . not everything should be revealed to all."
Quoting again from the same book, from page 238, " Nobody can either know nor understand any name or character of (God) unless God himself manifests it to him with that name and character."
After conscientious deliberation of all my, research in thc mentioned quote, I conceded to call the name of God which I felt was manifested to me during the moments of what I perceived to he inspired by God, as his " Aazam name" or " the most Glorious name." I also shared my discoveries with U.S. Government officials as well as various news agencies. I concluded on a personal level, the Aazam name of God, or his Glorious name, to be " thought, wisdom and intelligence." Obviously, thoughts, wisdom and intelligence all prompt the progression of understanding, science, scientific discoveries, promotion of moral understanding, moral values and growth as well as countless other beneficial phenomenon. In the book Interpretation of Dawn prayer, the given definition and description of the Aazam name was compatible with what is described in my theories in relation to God. I also feel there is direct correlation between the conditions of God which were manifested to me during the moments of inspiration with what I have studied.
I must express marked concern in relation to making the announcement of my discoveries to the fundamentalist Shi'ite Government of Iran. In view of the possibility of being accused of claming to he the messiah, thus putting my life in danger. Furthermore, the titles of being a prophet or messiah were appellations I had tried to avoid. This issue was not compatible with my theories or trend of thought. My only obligation was to express my feelings, thoughts, ideas and experiences. However, I felt obligated to express my thoughts and discoveries while confronting the risks involved in order to be effectively understood. My hope is to have the ability to resolve any misunderstanding through appropriate negotiations at a future lime.
While continuing to work on my theories in order to prepare them for presentation, I came across a few poems from Haulez, a very popular Iranian poet of 13th century.
In these poems Haulez alluded to the Aazam name, he further implied that by correctly knowing the name we would have the opportunity to protect ourselves from devils.
Advancement of successfully achieving our goals and having the light of God shine through us. These findings gave me more self confidence and encouragement in regard to thc continuation of my efforts and future achievements of my goals. Also, my findings, discoveries and techniques consequently appeared to bc more pleasant, righteous as well as more compatible with the traditional religious beliefs and mythologies.
It is important to stress that the prevailing announcement of the Aazam name or Glorious name of God, on a public level will thus produce other glorious names which are still unknown by all. Gradually, these names will surface in order to be discovered and understood by righteous people who merit the conception of them. Some of these poems as well as the English translation of them shall follow. |

The Dawn prayer is a popular prayer among the Iranian Shi'ite, being uttered frequently during the fasting months of ramadon. It is generally believed that this prayer is taught by the (third imam). Baha means glory, elegance and beauty. The Dawn prayer contains this word in its first sentence. It is understood that the Bahi prophet considered it to be the Aazam name of God.
