Religion for every person is a personal matter and is based on personal belief and personal relationship with God. Since absolute proof of God's existence cannot be accomplished by all people, their religions and beliefs are always associated with some degree of uncertainty and relativism. On the other hand the human mind is so constituted that it colors with its own previous conception any new notion that present itself for acceptance. Even though truth is objective and of its nature one and unchangeable but personal perception of it is largely relative and changeable, depends on person's condition and preconceptions. So the basic belief in God's existence as well as the prophecies and interpretations of theological laws and moral values that are associated with them becomes different in the minds of the followers of different religion. According to the religion history from the beginning of civilization and even prior to that people began to have relations with God either directly or through the prophets. As the civilization grew and continued to develop further, more religions were founded and presented to the people presumably in order to convey the messages of God and direct their way of life according to what was planned and recommended by God. Simultaneously socialism and agnosticism struggled to suppress the religions. Nevertheless, most of the world today is as religious as it ever was and a good many locate more religious than ever to the extent that it may intrigue some people. Even though parts of the flourishing of religions may have political and economical causes, nevertheless, based on my own studies (and experiences) I have come to the conclusion that the attractiveness of religions for the believers indicates that there is a strong force behind the progression of religions and that force allegedly comes from God. In this paper I have come to the conclusion that in my opinion God is real and is in control of the affairs of the world. He makes plan for progressions of science, art, technology, psychology and civilization to the extent that the sciences and religion become unified and advance together. These advances become so great and reach to such a level that they would eventually become able to discover and understand God and his physical qualities. Also can understand his mind, his actions and his role in our lives, our civilization and our evolution. |
